If you're interested in joining us, you can come along to our formal squad sessions, which start in September and run through to the end of May.
The club is made up of both male and female players of various nationalities from all over Hertfordshire.
We definitely cater for and welcome beginners, but do not accept U16s (see below). The best time to join us is at the beginning of the season in September. We feel that if you can't start your volleyball journey with a village club like ours, then where can you start it? If you're reasonably fit and willing to get stuck in, we're happy to support you get to a level where you can start playing competitive volleyball with the club.
Any questions? Please contact us.
Register for the 2022/23 season by completing this form. Once you've completed that form, sign up at the Teamer link provided to start receiving session invites.
September training is free for all and your first session with us at any other time of the year is also free. We prefer you to register before turning up for that free session, so we have your details in advance and can keep in touch.
Subs will consist of two payments in October and January of £80 for adults and £40 for students/juniors. That includes all Sunday training sessions, all matches, all Club tournaments and a bulk discount on our social sessions. We'll provide payment details once you've registered.
This is Sundays at Kings Langley School. We organise matches and squad training through Teamer.net. Once registered, use the Teamer link in the registration form to sign up for notifications.
Check out the Calendar page for training and match details.
Our beginner/intermediate coach is Trevor Dean who has been involved with the club for a very long time. He'll be available to coach us on an ad-hoc basis throughout the year and when he's not, other experienced team members will take coaching.
Our advanced coach is Angelo, but he'll also be assisted by others throughout the year.
We run social indoor, outdoor and beach volleyball sessions throughout the year. These are pay and play mixed ability sessions.
Our indoor social sessions are still limited due to ongoing COVID restrictions at our previous venue, so you'll only get an invite to those if you're a club member.
Anybody is welcome to register for these through The Kings Langley Volleyball Club MeetUp.
We don't have a junior squad, so no U16s except in exceptional circumstances. You need to be 16 or over on 1st September 2022 to join the club, which is what Volleyball England counts as a "Senior". The nearest junior clubs are AST Volleyball in Barnet, Welwyn & Hatfield and Milton Keynes.
For the U18s in the club, we have a fully trained Welfare Officer and all those who come in to regular contact with the U18s are DBS checked.
